I am descended from James McClymont of Tarbolton, Ayrshire, who arrived in Australia in the mid Nineteenth century. I have researched his life on the Ironbarks goldfield and in Orange NSW and copies of my book (limited ed) are in the National Library in Canberra and in the State Library in Sydney. James McClymont was my great grand father. I would like further information on the Lamont Clan Society. I am a retired Anglican Priest.
