Good Day!

I am in search of the roots of my great great grand father who is a Lamond who was among the many who migrated from Scotland to Australia about a decade ago. Is there any possibility of me tracing back to his roots?

I am a retired Anglican Priest. I am descended from James McClymont of Tarbolton, Ayrshire, who arrived in Australia in the mid Nineteenth century. I have researched his life on the Ironbarks goldfield and in Orange NSW and copies of my book (limited ed) are in the National Library in Canberra and in the State Library in Sydney. James McClymont was my great grand father.

I would like further information on the Lamont Clan Society.

Hello,
My family of Patrick is a sept of the Lamont Clan and this year [2010] in October, we are gathering to celebrate 150 years in New Zealand.
My query is directed to Chief of Clan Lamont, Father Peter Noel Lamont :
Would Chief Peter consider sending us a greeting or blessing which we could read out during the Official ceremony of our family reunion?
This would mean a great deal to us.
We would very much appreciate your help with getting this message to Father Peter.
Kind regards
Paddy Patrick
